WHAT IS THE PLATTE LAND TRUST?
The Platte Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving and protecting natural lands. Through a variety of efforts, we are working to preserve key scenic, recreational, agricultural, wildlife habitat and watershed lands.
Our purpose is: to preserve and promote the retention of valuable land for protection of green space for scenic and recreational enjoyment; responsible land use; watershed maintenance; wildlife habitat.
Our plans is: to promote and protect natural landscapes; educate the public on preservation issues; acquire land and interests in land preservation.
